Halley Hotel

Salda Lake is a slightly salty karst lake in the Yeşilova district of Burdur, 4 km away from the district centre, surrounded by forest-covered hills, rocky lands and small alluvial plains. It has a closed basin structure within the Lakes Region with no outflow. Its surface area is approximately 44 square kilometers. It is the 3rd deepest lake in Turkey with a depth of up to 184 meters. The hydromagnesite mineral formed in the lake is one of the most beautiful and current examples of "biological mineralization".
